Nathaniel The Great is a recording artist and songwriter from Brooklyn, NY that was influenced by the likes of Musiq Soulchild, Usher and Donny Hathaway. When it comes to the music industry, Nathaniel has been grinding and putting in the work to make it to the big leagues.
To date, he’s worked with everyone from Drake to French Montana to DJ Khaled, and sees no plans of slowing down. One decade later, he shifts his focus to his own solo artistry, unleashing his new single titled “Cash Out,” pairing it with an equally boisterous visual. The record itself serves as motivation for audiences all around the world, that they too can get the bag and make their wildest dreams come true.

Kulture Vulturez: What was life like growing up in Brooklyn for you?
Nathaniel The Great: There was always a sense of a community there. Brooklyn gave me the hustle and that competitive spirit that I needed to survive in this [music industry].
Kulture Vulturez: Were you involved in anything growing up that you would think would lead you to a professional career as a R&B artist?
Nathaniel The Great: Yes. I used to perform in my high school plays and concert choir. I also grew up singing in church.
Kulture Vulturez: Over the years, have you transformed as an artist?
Nathaniel The Great: I definitely have. I’ve learned to be myself in my music.

Kulture Vulturez: Who are some of the artists that you’ve worked with throughout your career?
Nathaniel The Great: I have worked with DJ Khaled, French Montana, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz, Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Style P, Wu Tang, LL Cool J, just to name a few.
Kulture Vulturez: What are some of your most meaningful songs?
Nathaniel The Great: A song I did called “Never Been Black.” It highlights what we go through as a people in this country.
Kulture Vulturez: What are some of your most memorable moments as an artist?
Nathaniel The Great: One of my most memorable was being in the studio with Wu Tang. I thought it was just a regular session but ended up being the moment that created their single “Keep Watch”.
Kulture Vulturez: Can you explain your latest single “Cash Out,” what led you to make the song?
Nathaniel The Great: The song was inspired by all of the hard times that I went through. I wanted to take a moment to celebrate where I started and where I am now.
Kulture Vulturez: What’s next for your career that you can share?
Nathaniel The Great: I will be dropping a new album called Aquarius on January 25th.
