Lagos, Nigeria has recently become the heart of Africa. With a population of over 15 million people, it is the largest city in Nigeria and one of the fastest-growing cities in the world. Lagos serves as not only the economic and financial hub of Nigeria, but as well as West Africa, attracting businesses and investors from around the globe. With the rise of Nigeria’s entertainment industry, from Nollywood to the top Afrobeat artists, Lagos has been brought into the spotlight. With its attention, the city is characterized by its communities, from the Lagos slums to the Lagos rich areas.
Nigeria’s largest city is home to several affluent and upscale communities of Lagos rich areas, signifying the city’s economy, thriving business industry, and upper class and middle class residents. These luxurious neighborhoods, like Victoria Island, Ikoyi, and Lekki Peninsula, display high-end residences, commercial buildings, and a thriving real estate market. The residents have access to state-of-the-art amenities and infrastructure, premium shopping centers, fine-dining restaurants, elite schools, and well-equipped medical facilities. These communities represent the success and affluence in Lagos.

Despite its many attractions, that includes a vibrant nightlife, high-end shopping and entertainment districts, and top ocean view resorts, Lagos is home to two worlds, one with the Lagos rich areas of affluent and successful Nigerians, and the other being the home of Lagos slums and high levels of poverty and lack of necessities.
