Dutch R&B Singers

List of the Best Dutch R&B Artists

Amsterdam, one of Europe’s most renowned cities, has become a hub for the rising of Dutch R&B artists in the Netherlands. Despite being a small country with a dense population of over 17 million, the local Dutch R&B singers and the genre itself have proved to be highly talented, even if it may not be the most popular music scene in Europe.

As the Dutch music industry is beginning to gain global recognition, rhythm and blues is entering into the spotlight. One of the first major appearances of R&B music in the Netherlands was with Natalie La Rose. Her single “Somebody” featuring Jeremih helped her reach international stardom and become one of the most cherished Dutch R&B artists of all time.

Today, R&B music has only grown within the Dutch music scene. Although some artists may be known for their pop or hip hop sound, and others for imitating Dancehall or Neo Soul, they all have contributed to the Rhythm and Blues genre with their unique creations.
