Although he started under different aliases at the beginning of the 2010s, The Weeknd eventually made a name for himself in the industry. 2. Daniel Caesar
Daniel Caesar, a highly soulful R&B artist, made his debut with the EPs Praise Break and Pilgrim’s Paradise in 2014 and 2015. A popular R&B musician named slchld hails from Vancouver, BC and is of Korean-Canadian origin. He gained a significant following in Southeast Asia after making his debut in 2018. Among his well-known tracks are “she likes spring, I prefer winter”, “you won’t be there for me”, and “maybe we need a break”.
PLAZA started his music career by being a part of Toronto’s local rock music scene. However, later on, he switched to R&B genre in 2016 which grabbed the attention of OVO Sound. In 2015, 11:11 made his debut as a musician with the release of the song “Henny & Gin” and his self-titled project, after starting out as a music producer.
