Located in a small college town of the University of Florida, the Gainesville hoods are often hidden, but remain alive and in the heart of the city. Unaware if there are real Gainesville gangs or affiliations, but this map highlights and showcases the urban neighborhoods throughout the city.

A quick tour of the streets of Gainesville, from the East Side to smaller hoods scattered all over the city. Based on the East Side is the projects of the old Kennedy Homes, Sugar Hill (the Bricks), Lake Road, and other places like 8th Ave., Lincoln Estates, and Spring Hill.
Outside of the East Side, there are neighborhoods isolated in their own sections of Gainesville. This includes 5th Avenue and Crosstown, the apartments of Phoenix, Cedar Ridge, Glen Springs, Pine Ridge, Pine Forest, and Village Green.
