In the shadows of Los Angeles County and the Bay Area, the streets of Central Valley are just as active with small towns being home to Bakersfield, Fresno, and Stockton gangs.

A diverse landscape of Hispanics, Blacks, and Asians, all connected by Highway 99, Central Valley is no different from any other major city, just smaller.

All originally coming to the area as early as the mid 1800s, the local farming industry brought many Filipinos, Cambodians, southern Blacks, and Mexicans into the Central Valley. As many relocate, neighborhoods became established within the main cities of Central Valley.

Fast forwarding years later, these communities were become homes to a number of Stockton, Fresno, and Bakersfield gangs and hoods.

Central Valley Gangs

In Stockton, the Mexican gang of the Nortenos, like the South Stocktone 14 and the East Side Stocktone, along with Asian and Black gangs of Bloods and Crips, Louis Park Bloods, Northside Gangster Crips, and the Asian Boyz.

The city of Fresno, another city that is diverse but dominated by Hispanics, is home to the infamous Bulldogs. Taken after the local college’s mascot, the Bulldogs are independent from Nortenos and Sureno gangs, unlike most. There are multiple sets of Bulldogs, like Mckenzie Street, Collage Street, Bond Street, and Floradora Street, among others. Along with the Bulldogs, there are Black and Asian gangs, like the Asian Boyz, Modoc Crips, Bloods, and several others.

The closest to Los Angeles and the first city you hit in Central Valley, Bakersfield streets have a long history. Mostly Black and Hispanic gangs, along with Whites, like the Oildale Peckerwoods, the city of Bakersfield consists Colonia Bakers 13, the East Side Crips, the West Side Crips, Country Boy Crips, Westside Bakers 13, and many more Sureno gangs.
